Daily Recommendations
To include snacks, desserts and beverages in your well-balanced diet, you can "budget" these items within your daily recommendations for each of the different food groups. For example, a dessert of ½ cup of low-fat frozen yogurt would count as one serving of your recommended servings per day for milk products.
